Random things I did over this past week:




- Worked 17 hours in overtime...



- Got myself a Motorola Q. Way more convenient and much cheaper than my old Pay as you Go cell.



- Shot a video of Moka, snoring (What; I HAD to try all the founctions of my new toy!!)

- Played An American Paris in concert. The trumpet section did great ! Some others did as well...

- Pretended to have my Ipod on on the bus but really was eavesdroping on the conversation going on behind me. Everything was going fine until one of them said :"Oh Yay ! I'm sure there's a prince for me; only he got hit by a truck on his way." I laughed so hard I snorted...

- Convinced somebody to lend me his old laptop so I would not be the last person on hearth to not have internet at home. It is an 8 years old Compaq but I am sooo loving it right now !

Work Environment...

You put a bunch of eternal kids with serious jobs and put them in the same department. Could be a recipe for disaster. But we have nicknames for each others. We play mind games all day long. We're the 7 Snow Whites and the dwarf and we send funny emails from time to time to keep things real...

It is with a heavy heart that I write to you today.



At yesterday’s Blah Blah Conference, a gentleman stumbled across my path.



On seeing that I was from the Blah Blah Blah, he proceeded to inform me of his night of debauchery with one of our Snow Whites, well not as Snowy White as we thought.



Whilst this night of revelry did take place out of office hours, our reputation has been sullied. He informed of his traipse across Town in search of a good time, the farmer’s market, a tour of the architectural features of this fine capital and then eventually to Snow White’s home. Exhausted, he was unable to defend his honour!!!



In retrospect, I think it was poor judgment in hiring two trolls. The combination of a cave and a Lac Saint Jean troll has resulted in a downward spiral of moral values.



I have informed the Dean that with immediate effect all Snow White benefits have been halted. He has agreed to fund Dr Phil and Oprah to come to the school to help us with our Troll Issue.

Who would want to leave that kind of place ? I'm definitely staying.

This is going to be a long winter...

I've been quiet for quite some time now, I know. Work has been very busy and, I am quite ashame to admit, well, I don't own a computer. There. I said it.





"Hello, my name is JATP and I don't own a computer."



I wish there was a 12 steps program for that. Really.



For the first time in my life, I am finally living alone : and I am having a blast. But living on my own also means that the apartment didn't come fully equiped. I now find myself having to buy super crazy stuff like a blowdryer and a computer.

For somebody as addicted to the web as I am, not owning a computer IS a big deal. I find myself looking at store flyers and tv ads everyday, longing for that small and sleak device that would make my life so much easier, knowing too well that I won't be able to afford one until mid February. That's 123 days people !!

123 days.

Winter's gonna be reeeeeeally long...
